Gosh, thank you so so much. I've been on DA for 7 years with no luck with getting views or feedback, so all of the new communication is really exciting and new to me! I just upgraded to a new camera and I'm practicing more and more. I used to use a cheap little Canon digital for family photos and then my dad bought me a Nikon D3100 with a fancy long-distance lens for my first college graduation. That's when I got really obsessed with photography, but I didn't really know what I was doing on a technical level. I had an accident with that camera last month, though. Someone was messing around and broke it. After their parents covered the cost, my dad decided to help me upgrade to a Nikon D7100 instead. I AM STOKED about this new model. It's amazing. I just recently stopped using the auto settings and have been trying to get out of my comfort zone, since now I have a much fancier camera. I read most of the manual for it, plus a photography book, so this is the first time I've tried to do more technical work. I'm so pleased that you like it!
