Hi Jersokoi, thanks for considering  "The boulder sits..."  was worth a fave      

I'm still not sure whether that was a dramatic photograph with the crashing wave or

one of serenity imagining the background sound of the waves.
Maybe those argumentative birds push it towards the dramatic

It might be pushing the point but the moral of the Thurber fable I quoted;  "Who flies afar from the sphere of our sorrow is here today and here tomorrow."  could be applied to the Covid-19 situation that is affecting so many of us

We might be hiding from nature currently but its beautiful face is beginning     
to show itself after the gloom of winter, at least in the northern hemisphere      

Perhaps the emotional lift spring gives will sustain us in the Covid-19 crisis. I hope my daffodil submission helped a little - thanks for faving Jersokoi           Stay safe...

I must correct the illusion, created for drama by the title, that this was a caged kitty.

In reality, the window screen was for security of the house not to incarcerate the cat
