I'm not too worried about if they mention me or not. I just fixed the UV maps. You're the one who rigged it. By the way, don't panic if you ever try to rip a mesh and it looks like this: Β sta.sh/08lsvrya3om Β It is an easy fix in blender.

It may seem like it, but the it was a simple fix with blender to examine the UV maps and GNU Image Manipulation Program to resize the textures. I figured out the "one texture" problem's solution after looking at the UV Maps of the Mega Zord a few times in blender. I noticed all of the dinos were on the same texture, so I figured they weren't right. After I got the texture, I noticed they were off, so I looked into it just resized the UV maps. It worked, but it left them with that white area along the edges. Basically, those parts are from the papercraft.

the white area are relativly easy to fix with a bit of time and patiance

I think shrinking the UV maps would do it. Normally, we're told to color in the lines, but I've noticed in blender, you'll want to color a little bit outside the lines as far as UV maps go.

Do you have the mtl file that goes with the obj file? It would be pretty useful if you do.

there isnt an mlt, and the original file was the PDO, sorry if IM not giving enaugh data

Jinzo-Advance In reply to wolf-knight-1 [2015-05-23 16:33:47 +0000 UTC]
If you haven't tampered with the UV maps, I have an idea. Can you get the PDO into a jpg or png for me, please. I need it in that format so I can import it into GIMP and fix it the issue with the textures.
π: 0 β©: 1
wolf-knight-1 In reply to Jinzo-Advance [2015-05-23 19:17:40 +0000 UTC]
so, you want the net that pepakure generates? the only way to make the PDO into a JPG is to make it into the net, I can try and do that but it will take some time, unless its another thing you mean that I dont know
π: 0 β©: 1
Jinzo-Advance In reply to wolf-knight-1 [2015-05-23 19:33:20 +0000 UTC]
The net is the collection of parts that are assembled as paper after printed out, right? If so, export it.
π: 0 β©: 1
wolf-knight-1 In reply to Jinzo-Advance [2015-05-23 20:15:33 +0000 UTC]
in pepakura, it give you a view of the model, and then a view of the net next to it, so yeah, I should be able to do that but itl take a bit to get it right

Jinzo-Advance In reply to wolf-knight-1 [2015-05-23 21:05:19 +0000 UTC]

Thanks for the heads up. I hope the three Magneteers turn out great for you. I really don't know what the heck is up with Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon. One ripper results in funky meshes, while the other gives funky UV maps.

No probs, dude.
Honestly, I could probably deal with the funky UV maps/That's the shading that the model would have once you put it into MMD?
Also, do you have any of the other Yugioh games for PS2?
π: 0 β©: 1
Jinzo-Advance In reply to Zeltrax987 [2014-05-17 22:02:58 +0000 UTC]
I mean the layout is funky. Like it doesn't line up with the actual image file. Example, the wing may be aligned to the whole image instead of the actual wing. The vertices can be realigned in blender's UV editor with the UV window in view mode and the obj selected in the 3d view window in edit mode (click where it says object mode to switch), but I don't know how bad Ulty UV's are.
