I came across the 3D modelling program called XNALara about 2 years ago. It's a free program you can download online. It was version 9.6, issued March 2011, and I used that program for about 90% of my gallery here on DA. I've been using an upgraded version of that program, called XPS-(XNALara Posing Studio) the past couple of months for my most recent gallery pics. I use the latest version of that program, version 10.9.5. Both this programs use models designed for them-(say the Resident Evil characters) that other far more talented people than me have created. I use their models with their okay-(and always credit them in my picture credits). So it's fair to say I start out with other people's models-(people, vehicles, weapons, furniture, etc), and use the program to pose them in the scene I want. After I've completed the posed scene in XNALARA or XPS, I take a 2-D "snapshot" of the posed scene on my screen with a screen-capture utility program. I take that saved 2-D picture and import it into my PhotoShop Elements-9 program, where I do my post-editing-(brighten/change colors, improve lighting, flesh-tone, adjust body parts, darken or lighten the scene, etc). I then post the edited 2D picture here on DA. I had a little experience with PhotoShop Elements previously, but it's an picture-editing program, so you have to have something created first in order to edit it. I would say if you like my XNALara gallery, try installing the XPS program, and then can download all the various 3-D models posted here on DA to start out with. Once you learn how to work the program, it's very easy. Hope this helps!!!
