# About me

My name is Josh Engel and I have graduated Miami University with a degree in Visual Media Design. Out of high school I would have never even imagined seeing myself where I am today. I went into college thinking I wanted to be a computer programmer for a living. Little did I know that I would be inspired by some amazing people. Today my life is all about being creative and taking that creativity to the next level.

After I took my first round of computer classes I noticed no one seemed to have fun or interact with the people around them and to me that was a big problem. You can ask anyone I know and they will tell you that I am very much a people person and I love interacting with other human beings. So from that point forward I decided to take my career goals a different direction.

I landed on Visual Media Design which took aspects of photography, video, and web editing as well as other CIT fundamentals. Upon taking a few photography classes I started to become more and more interested in the subject. I owe a lot of my inspiration to Ron Stevens, my photography professor and my other inspirations like Chase Jarvis for really inspiring me to take my photography to the next level. It has honestly become my number one passion in life and I want to do make it a life long career.
