My name is Kurtis, im 21 from Cali.Im a graffiti artist/sticker artist, and just an artist in general..
I draw all sorts of things from realism and surrealism.
My two favorite artists would be Greg "Craola" Simkins and Jeff Soto.
They are great artists, and huge inspirations.
Im also a guitarist, acoustic and electric, my second hobby.

Hey you, I'm painting a shoe for a friend and I was wondering, what did you use for shoes?

What do you mean? I dont prep the shoes or anything, I just sketch out what im drawing on the shoe and I use acrylic paint for color, and sometimes pen for detailing, then I spray a clear gloss over them to finish and make them water resistant. Is that what you're asking?

Yeah it wont come off unless you do some determined scraping/rubbing lol
the only problem you may have is if you lay on layers too thick, it may crack over time. but that's expected.

especially with my cross hatching

well, with crosshatching, its mainly practice, but I start at the darkest areas, and work my way to the lightest areas, and one main key, is keep a light hand, dont press down too hard, and swipe lightly for the lightest areas.

Well I've been drawing since I could grasp a pencil, then graduated to pen / marker as my initial medium. And now i'm just really grasping paints as a medium.
