I'm not an official artist because I'm only 14, I don't sell my art, and I don't live to draw (for the moment ^^") but you're right when you say that as long as you can create something out of nothing, you're an artist (it's not because I'm self-taught but, I hope I'll become an artist, known for my art (thank you for what you said, I'm happy to know someone (talented) and open like you!! (Sometimes artists don't want to talk to people, I don't really appreciate it lol)

It's nice to meet you^^ I like to talk to people and it's nice to make friends with other artists cause we get the struggles of art and can complain about it and help each other get better. (But I get what you mean.. it seems like many artists dont wanna be bothered especially if they are well known I guess. At least for me I find it hard to approach them xD but maybe it's all in our heads idk)
