# About me

Thought I'd do a new pic with my Nephew, who I saw a few weeks ago! :D He's nearly one now and I hadn't seen him since January as he emigrated to the USA (With my brother and his wife....he didn't go by himself :P...)...dawww! :)

I'm 34 (yeh I know :( ) and started drawing in March 2011 after 20 years of ignoring art..(I'm more a scientist). :) I took redundancy from my job, so took up pencilling to give me a new hobby while looking for work :)

It's been a great journey so far and I've had tons of help from the great community here on DA, so long may it continue! :D

Maybe at the end of the year I'll do a new picture, as I'm trying to lose a bit more weight finally :) I lost nearly 4 stone (Err... or about 24kg or about 53 lbs for those who don't use stone :P) last year, so wouldn't mind just another stone or so...bah back to the gym :(

Enough mumbling...I have drawing to do :)

Thanks, welcome back lol, you've been away longer than I have hehe...yeh I went a bit crazy drawing a year or two ago, and have since been incredibly lazy, not really done much in 18 months :( (Sad) Should try and get back into it a bit really :) (Smile) I see you've been doing some new stuff, with the colour and cartoon styles, still awesome! :D (Big Grin)

Pretty well, thank you. Busy with my two jobs and back to college now. My last semester had me all dried up as far as creative and artistic stuff goes. I needed a summer break from it all. I want to get back into it; hopefully soon.
