I'm doing Gally from the anime/manga "Gunnm/Battle Angel Alita" Friday morning, and Makise Kurisu from the anime "Steins:Gate" Saturday. I also made a rave outfit for the Saturday dance ^^

I just looked those up and those are going to look amazing! I saw pictures of your rave outfit, I think you made a good choice with the shorts because it gets crazy hot in the rave. Are you going to wear glow sticks too?

Yep! Well, in 2010, there were 3 of them at the photoshoot XD my friend makes a really nice Alexia, her dress is wonderful!

Cool! We won't be inside the con center for the shoot though, we're gonna be on some terrace (not the one with flowers everywhere)

Just be careful of them creepy people that go to the rave and try to steal bags and cop a feel and stuff. There were a lot of people like that last year. X_X

Yup! I cosplayed both of those last year. And i understand. I get pretty shy too sometimes and dont want to bug people. ;;^_^

Haha, that shouldn't be too hard! What do you do for the guns now since the con is being such a stickler about airsoft guns and such? (I saw them chew some guy's ear off for having a nerf gun...)

Of course they will! Its more unique than most people's outfit which are just thrown together with cheap stuff from the dealers room. haha.

Oooh...the guns eh? XD well, I keep them in my bag and only take them out for photos...I never got them registered. XD they're actually water guns (which is also forbidden), but I cut the tubes, so I couldn't use them as so, but I'm sure they still wouldn't accept them...so I stay sneaky with those XD

I can understand the no "anything that is or ever once was an airsoft gun" thing to an extent...but I think water guns is being a little picky. I just think its really stupid how they're so against live steel (which IS a good thing) and airsoft guns, yet, every year they have vendors in the dealers room selling both of those things. XD They bother people who are being totally responsible with their props yet just the other year I saw a cosplayer who bought a live steel sword and was SWINGING it around in the convention, and posing with it on the streets outside of the convention and got away with it all weekend without anything being said to her. That really is a safety hazard. And you know where the security and staff probably were? wasting time reprimanding people for leaning against the wall, or standing in one spot for too long. XD

Yeah, exactly....but it's true that they kinda overlook people with HUGE weapons, or just wooden swords that could actually hurt people...meeeh...that's why I keep low and I always keep my guns in my bag XD never got into trouble for that they have better things to do.
