No, sadly, I am not. I was though a year ago 08年０５月２４日－０８年０８月２１日！It was nothing short of life-changing. I taught English and made good friends there. I love 関西弁, and I hope to learn more of it、 as well as 日本語. I will return one day.

No, I live in the USA, but I recently stayed over in Japan for a while, and LOVED it. When I have the money, graduate college, and am ready, I hope to move to Osaka.XDD Tokyo's very popular place for foreigners to want to live and visit.

Japan is really beyond words, but I think one would probably have to STAY there, not only visit there, to know really how it is. I never went even close to Tokyo, since its a 2-hour + ride by bullet train, which is expensive. I've heard Tokyo has the largest and most potentially confusing subway system in Japan and one of in the world. There's got to be tons good about it though, b/c everyone wants to go there, either for business, travel, or as a place to live and teach.

I loved Osaka and the people there, but I'm quite sure the Japanese (にほんじん）are absolutely amazing everywhere in Japan. They keep everything in though and there is no personal one-on-one confrontation at all; you must go through somebody if there is a problem.

I hope you'll be able to find a way to at least visit soon. I'm sure there's some way...

I could prob share with you some about Japan little by little (what I know, at least).

Oh, maybe you know this little town, called Prescott. That's where I was all those years ago. A small mountain nearby is Thumbutte. Good hiking.

My interest is more than you know. Gazing at your "moving water" work (all of it, which is a lot) inspires me and makes me wish I could pick up everything and go back to North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mtns and photograph some more waterfalls....
