# About me
My name is Kat de Luca, and as of August, 2011, I will be studying art at the University of Minnesota.I intend to obtain my Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and then open a tattoo parlor.
My favorite genre of art is Horror & Macabre. I mainly use ink & pencils, but occasionally I will pick up a pallet knife or brush and immerse myself in the world of oil and acrylic painting. I used to be a photographer until my camera was stolen, so now my photos come mainly off my 8 mp camera phone or my webcam.
I look for originality in the world. I admire those who can be themselves in the fullest aspect of the sense. I don't strive to be an individual, I simply live my life the way I see fit. I have a strange and somewhat morbid outlook on life. Intellectual conversations are my favorite, and I absolutely love meeting new people. I like to think I'm a nice person! So, feel free to contact me :) I also am looking for feedback, as I am a baby Deviant.
People spend their lives battling for perfection and acceptance. Little do they know, they can achieve those things if they just accept themselves.

Wellllll, it may seem a tad unoriginal, but artists always find a way to put personal spins on things.
This is the first time I've put this thought into something coherent, also, so bear with me:
I was thinking of a heroine for the main character, (mad gorgeous, of course), fighting the different demons and creatures who have crawled straight out of hell. I picture her using a substance before each encounter, such as LSD, to intensify everything tenfold. Her background, though, is a little different. I want her to be insane, but maybe only to others. Her thoughts are just too overwhelming, and other people cannot accept her. That is what makes her so different xD
