thank you very much! i'd say you have a more impressive gallery than i at the moment, but that's just me Sadly, I do not have a pro camera. I'd love to offer advice, but i just have your run-of-the-mill Kodak Easyshare from 2003. It takes a decent picture, but I need to upgrade (numerous drops have left me zoom button-less (unless i poke it with a small stick) and finickey from a swim in a creek). Let me know if you have any suggestions after you do your shopping!

Thanks, I need all the help I can get at the moment. Can I ask you if you have submitted anything as prints and stuff on DA? The problem I'm having at the moment is with rejection. Oh, I don't mind the word but what is puzzling is how to get your jpegs approved. I believe it's the camera I'm using although only a few years ago I payed £350.00 for it. But that's IT stuff for you. Anyway I really must upgrade if I want to take myself seriously. And, by the way, looking at my gallery I hate it. I would prefer yours any day. Sometimes I wish I'd never been born with oil paint in my blood. But I'll die shouting it, lol.

I have submitted Peeking Moon as a print. Funny thing is that I didn't actually try to, it just gave me the option, so again, I am without advice. I never actually learned oils and haven't the heart to try (and fail at them) so i'm still dabbling in other media. Keep on shouting!

Yeah, it does that to all the material you upload if you have paid for a subscription. But if the submission photograph isn't up to standard it will be rejected - which is only right. Thanks anyway. I'm still working on what I'm doing wrong, lol.

bonne chance! I am still in grad school and as such a poor college student, so a paid subscription is not currently within my grasp. but i hope you get some up to standard and make a @#$%-load off of print sales (hey, we needn't all be starving artists, right?)

Well I hope so too. Perhaps I'll work the problem out. Good look with your studies. But wouldn't it be nice for artists to earn enough to keep working? What really makes me angry is the artists who can't sell a thing while they're living but as soon as they are dead the auctions cash in and collectors suddenly appear from no where.
