they were ok - my dad was totally fine with it, but my mom was inwardly freaking out (although trying really hard not to show it hahaha)
so all in all it wasn't even close to as bad as i thought it would be...which is great! but i think it'll be a different story when i get another one :]

yeah - i'm not sure what i want next or where i want it...i was thinking about getting a marigold on my hip or something, but i'm not sure cause i'm not a huge fan of color tattoos (they can look awfulllll)

i'm also not big on gratuitous tattooing. i think tats should be significant and have meaning, so i'm going to wait until i have a more concrete idea
plus, i have to wait at least six months anyway just cause tattoos are super addicting (especially for people like me) and i don't want to be addicted :]

i agree with you on the colour ones, although i think if it were to look more like shading and around a black outline, like faint but there it'd be nicer. although that'd need constant re-touching. although i like your idea, it sounds purrrdy :3

i know they can be that way, haha. my hairdresser is covered in them, but he has no colours either.
anyway, as you know you've got to be careful, you've got the right idea about them needing meaning and i think that the more you have the less meaning they all have. if that makes sense. it's like the fact that you put it on your body permanently means it must have significant meaning, it's got to be rare, so like the more you do it, it just seems pointless.

aww thank you :3, because think about it, when you get older too. or even in a few years time you'll regret getting them, for example i was at my uncle's birthday party and a lot of his friends have tattoos, some that have changed them cause they didn't like what they had and one that was like i don't like to talk about these tats because i got them when i was younger and stupid. you just don't want to regret getting it because it's harder to take back.
