I know immediately you're going to dread this comment, I know you're going to ignore me or not accept this that I've put my time into typing. But this isn't anything against you. In fact, it's an apology. An apology I should've done many weeks and months ago.
Because I overreacted, I fucked up. And I've fucked up too often in our friendship, and that's broken it. Friendships break. It happens. But I can't deal with the guilt no more.
I've been trying to get over it. But you probably won't believe me when I say I missed you. Really. I really did. I kept checking your DA often, even though I knew there was nothing of my business anymore as I was no longer part of you nor your world.
I tried to push everything away and get on, so I drew more often with my new tablet, got more skills and developed my artwork, but IRL situations got me down and 99% of my art became venting and most words I spoke were depressive jokes and self-hating comments.
Then the guilt hit me again.
The memories came back of how much of a failure and a bad friend I've been, what I've become.Β
And I've been sitting for days and days on end, considering apologising. But every time, I've pushed it away. Because I know.
I know you're not gonna accept my apology. I know I've gone too far, I know you don't want me back. But it was worth a try.
