I have a trip with family to Singapore.
It's a shame we haven't gone to those hawkers, but we were able to buy Hainanese chicken.
And yes, at least the tourist areas are spotless.
Lots of cops and soldiers in the mall (Bugis) though.Β

Hope you had fun! Yea, the police patrols are getting a bit frequent, but it's quite easy to ignore them once you get used to it. They don't bother anyone unless you're doing anything suspicious. :3

No, but it looks like it can be used as West Baltic CoA during the Soviet period.

I mean, the artist already stated it's not to be taken seriously, so I won't. That aside, any region outside Xinjiang and Tibet isn't going anywhere, and the fact that the abovementioned two can split to any extent is the reason why the Chinese maintain such a heavy military and police presence there. In short, a long-term Warring States period is unlikely, though never impossible. china only just had one last century.

I'm afraid that one might not come out any time soon, if ever. I haven't posted in a long while, and I feel I hit a brick wall on writing the story, due to life and all. I know I said I'd never cancel the story, and I do want to keep writing on it, but I simply lack the time now. I should probably reboot the story to put more focus on the late Soviet era when I have time, since that's when the fun really starts.

Yeah, I also hit the wall with my Manchuria story. I can sympathize. The last thing I did though was pointing the middle finger on Beijing on the issue of Hong Kong; getting the Hong Kongers armed with captured ex-North Korean weapons and turning HK into Beirut with skyscrapers.
Maybe it's time to turn my Manchuria project into a visual novel...

This was one year ago, so I'm pretty sure where he got his ideas from, though definitely not a carbon copy and not something I'll take that far, even as a weeby fellow. Also, my agriculture minister has brown hair like a normal person. It's the culture minister that has his hair dyed pink.

My story for the Prussian pavilion in Shanghai Expo:
www.designboom.com/architecturβ¦
When that Austrian design waltz-me! team lost in the competition for the Austrian pavilion in Shanghai expo, the Prussians are arguing about either attending or skipping the expo. Tonchev put an end to that, but Prussian Expo committee are too busy in bickering and were close to withdrawing from the Shanghai expo. However, one of the architects of that failed bid was a dual Austrian-Prussian citizen (and ethnic German of course) had requested his bosses if he can offer their design to Prussia and tweak it a bit to give it a more Prussian look. The Austrians are concerned it might be focusing too much on their German past, but Tonchev, wanting to break the deadlock, assured it would not be the case, as he wanted to show Prussia from all its aspects, not just the German or the Soviet ones.Β
And so when the design of the Prussian pavilion is revealed, the public ignored the Austrian origins of the design.Β
Must be a good side-story to write along with waifus.

Konigsritter In reply to kyuzoaoi [2019-02-16 09:54:09 +0000 UTC]
The multicultural Swiss model advocated by Gram and his party. That, in itself, is a deviation of Stolypin's model for the USSR, with the breakdown of the SSR system and its replacement with localized, multiethnic councils. Today, though, it's more of a combination of Gram's model and the one we know in real life, since Gram wilfully exploited the real life German-centric Prussian nationalism of old to siphon support for his new, unconventional version. Under Tonchev, the multiethnic Prussia grew to accept its Germanic character far more than Gram would have wanted, resulting in today's 'neither fully Russian nor German' Prussia.

Civ V and VI have Prussian mods ITTL, one with the Prussia we know in OTL and another with Henrik Gram as leader? What is his unique unit?
π: 0 β©: 1
Konigsritter In reply to kyuzoaoi [2019-01-16 01:48:59 +0000 UTC]
Not that I know of. Prussia's units don't come across as anything unique. Too little history. It'll probably borrow the German unit in the mod, with the Russian krepost. Maybe you might come up with something.
