You used this song in Madness Combat 3 and 4, and what a lovely song it is. I've been meaning to ask for a while, and thought I may as well give it a go: are the lyrics meant to have any particular significance to Hank as a character, or the story of Madness Combat? Or am I looking into this deeper than need be?

Holy shit, son. I've never heard this song in it's entirety. I lifted it from a DJ irene album and there was nothing in there to let me know where it came from before that so I was completely in the dark.
The lyrics have no signifigance, I grabbed at it like the scoundrel I was because it sounded somber haha

TBH, I did kind of think it'd just been chosen as a somber-sounding tune to accompany the death scenes, butΒ I alsoΒ just couldn't shake this suspicion that there might have been something more going on and thought there'd be no harm in going to the source.
