but anyway, I usually use the water tool for blending and my settings are 100% Blending, 100% Dillution, and 80% presistence

I don't know. I mean, I want people to be able to really see the cat, since it's usually the subject. I work with a big canvas (I think) and leave it that size so people can see details. Nothing bothers me more than when there's a nice picture but you can't zoom in and you miss things. Just allows for more details; eyes and fine fur for instance. Does that answer your question... kind of... ?

do you think I should make them smaller? I never really thought about it much

Yeah, that answers my question! And I really like it actually! I don't think you should change a thing. Its just that usually the larger the canvas, the more details, and the longer it takes, you know? So i was just wondering ;u;
