hell there. let me introduce myself.Β
I'm known as the KingOfWarlocks, although War is shorter and easier to say. Lately i'm also known under my nickname Jur.
This is a big comment, so sit down with some cookies or another snack if you're interested in reading this avalanche of letters and complete tsunami of words.
The main reason i came to this page, is because of your various MapleStory series and videos, mainly Osseria, which became a rather big part of my life when i was about ten, eleven or maybe even twelve years at the time. I've only recently reached the age of fifteen and grown a lot since then. especially regarding my general understanding.
And grown enough to realize that my twelve year old-boy-dream of someday making a MapleStory series with you using stories of my own for the plot. (it was practically my first attempt at a fanfiction. It even grew to be a trilogy. and i must admit- i kinda cringe now that i look back at myself from back then).
I became a bit obsessed with your series. Not to the point of drawing fan art, but to the point of inspiring me to create my first big story involving my first persona. (and participating in that drawing contest featuring Jack and you, even though i had no idea how to communicate with you at the time).
Through the few years, i was even looking for music to fit the various situations i had in mind, not thinking about possible copyright consequences. Again, i kind of cringe looking back at myself from back then, also about arrogantly putting myself as a main character in a series of a more experienced and wiser person than me. I really wanted to meet/contact you someday and become friends with you, and make this project i had in my mind a reality.
When you posted your video about the closing curtain of your channel, i felt pretty devastated. I think i cried even more than when i finished watching Osseria. But i still clung on to my hopes of making this little (kind of arrogant) boy dream of mine a reality. I regularly checked your channel to sporadically see a video appear, which made me a bit more confident again.
Though as time went on, i started watching your channel less and less, and eventually i almost forgot all about you. only really rarely did i visit again, still happy when i saw a new video, but not remembering my old ideas and plans.Β Eventually, i forgot all about them.
Now reflecting back upon myself, i realize that this dream isn't reachable for me in this life. And i'm completely fine with that.
(i believe a lot of stuff, like alternate timelines, reincarnation, parallel universes etc., so don't look up with a weird face if you see me talking with things like "this life". Though i try to make a conversation as comfortable as possible for the person i'm talking to if they're not into that kind of stuff. plus, i can be a complex person.)
In this case, saying that there are many roads leading to Rome as a metaphor is very fitting. For i still plan to share these stories via Maplestory movies and series like you made them, (hopefully with the same quality like you made them,) but not with the cast i had initially in mind. I plan to create these series when i'm older, more experienced, and in possession of the right resources and people to be around with. These stories are still something i hold on to to this day, and i am grateful to you for being the inspiration source for these stories.
It has been about two years for as far as i can remember since i last had these ideas, plots and characters in my head, and never wrote them down. I can still remember the main plot lines and some of the ideas, but the details, various characters and motives and backgrounds are something i will probably need to rebuild from the ground up.
This brings me to the conclusion of this comment. And it's a pretty simple one, actually.
Thank you for inspiring me to create my first big stories and laying the fundaments for the stories, characters and creatures that i have created over the years, and will continue with creating for an untold amount of time. Looking back on my past experiences with your channel, you're pretty much a really big thing what inspired me and had started on creating my stories. I am really, really dang grateful for it. And even if you weren't the thing that inspired me to start creating grand stories, be it in another timeline or something, i can't imagine what would have.
Thank you. An absolute, darn lot.
I also hope that we will be able to become friends. As stated before, that was also a dream of mine as a younger boy, but one far less cringy. For as far as i'm capable of analyzing you (which is a bit hard regarding a few mental traits of mine), you're a very cool and interesting person with an absolute amazing fantasy and great friends. Something i want to be, too.Β

i really hope that this comment isn't too stupid, idiotic, pretentious or anything of the negative, and i also really hope that we will be able to become friends.

I want to say that thank you for your kind words. (I'm actually not so good with words.)
I am very thankful to hear that you've enjoyed all of those weird/witty MapleStory work, and it's an honour to hear that my work has strangely made a positive impact on your life.
It surprises me that you made an attempt to actually combine Osseria with your own stories. Also, there is nothing wrong with adding 'yourself' in the story as well - like how I positioned my character as 'the supporting' character.
It makes your own personal journey a lot more exciting - especially if a story includes character based on actual people living in a world where you could almost imagine anything.
I could also say that it's one of the positive ways to escape from reality for a short period of time.
I am certainly not an interesting person - I'm really just quite an oddball being.
Whenever we go, I really think that we're all friends if we say hello, reply and commenting each other.
But again, I thank you and all the other people who've enjoyed CookiezMs channel from the past and today.
I do miss the good old times, but I'm glad that we all made memories in that channel.

that is no problem at all. Again, i've been looking for a way to contact you for a long time, and it still took me a while to come up with the words you read on the comment you have replied to with this.Β
You are most welcome. Again, your work was a big source of entertainment as well as amazement for me. I don't think you should put "strangely" in that sentence, for i am as sure as cucumbers are not made of fire that your work has brought a positive impact to many more of your fans.
That's nice of you to say and it makes me feel a bit better, though i still kind of feel selfish for making myself one of the most important characters in the trilogy i created around Osseria and the characters in it.
But you are right about the fact that personal journeys can grow very interesting by experimenting and getting inspiration from other sources. the path of fantasy is one i still walk today and dearly want to keep on walking whilst enjoying the scenery that is the various creations of others, to put it in a metaphor.Β
And a flippin' great way to take a break from reality it is. Though you're right not to linger in it too long.
Those are also ways of putting and seeing it (both the way you see yourself as an oddball as well as your view on being friends with each other), the first one being - ironically- the most interesting of the two in my opinion. I like both of these views.
