We're at an impasse. You can't praise Christianity by naming the great people who were Christians and I can't degrade it by naming the evil people who were Christians. Same goes for atheism.Β

Exactly.Β Pretty much every sufficiently large group is going to have it's extreme members. There's always going to be more-or-less good people and more-or-less bad people in a given group. any attempt to refute Christianity or atheism must thus be made on other, very different grounds.
