# About me

I'm an illustrator, a gamer, fangirl, theater buff, amateur photographer, writer, and self proclaimed geek hailing from San Francisco and now living in Washington state. I collect dragons, swords, cats, manga, anything Dr. Who and stacks of fantasy, art and comic books. My degree is in Art with a focus on Illustration and Design although I work in electronics and draw on the side. My favorite medium is pen and ink, but I also love scratchboard, airbrush and color work with acrylic, watercolors, marker, colored pencil or my tablet.

Ooh try it!Β  I really love it!Β  You have to think in reverse - you're drawing light, not shadow.Β  I look at negative space and work that way.Β  I find it oddly relaxing and like to work scratchboard to take a break from the tediousness of pen and ink pointillism sometimes!Β
