I'm a 23-year-old medical transcription student. I'm interested in improving my style and technique in both visual art and prose. I've been married for several years, and we live in the middle of nowhere with our beloved cat and cockatiel. I have an old account on here, and it depresses me to see how abysmal my art was then! ^^; I'm a bit better now, though I still have a LOT to learn... "In May 2011, Takanaga announced that she was finishing the series, but would draw at least one more volume of extra stories based on the manga and a sequel series featuring Morinaga's brother Kunihiro.[12] But in November of 2012 Takanaga announced she had decided to continue the series from where it left off. Although it would be at a slower pace. [13]
Side Stories On the 7th of December 2012 Takanaga has announced the continuation of Vol.8 with extra 3 side stories which has been released by GUSH Magazine of the January 2013 edition issue. These side stories shall be sequels based on the last chapter of Vol. 8" Wikipedia.

I knew she'd be doing side stories, but I hadn't checked to see if she's done them yet. Volume 8 hasn't even come out yet, so maybe that's why they pushed back its publication...

I don't know what the story was called, but it was available for download on LJ's Hinako Takanaga community. It's sweet! Basically, Tetsuhiro comes home from his training and learns that Souichi's been running his new assistants ragged. Souichi tells Tetsu that he was always useful, and then they kiss. ^^ It's cute!

Ahhh...Its this little insight into Souichi's head, starting from when he fainted in the lab. He ends up frustrated because Morinaga isn't all over him like white on rice and thinks he's still mad. But he isnt ACTING mad and Souichi had no idea how to react and just ends up over thinking the whole thing. I love when she does Souichi's point of view. It always shows that he likes him much more than he's saying.

Well, I was working all day. XD I like my internship job, though, so it wasn't so bad. Plus, afterwards my whole family came by to pick me up so we could go out and eat at our favorite Mexican food place. Then we went home, had some German chocolate cake, and watched TV together. It was nice!
So how have you been, by the way? How's school going? It seems like I'm never on DA anymore! -_-

To answer your questions: Yes, German chocolate cake is the BEST! It's just chocolate cake with chocolate icing and a gooey coconut topping, and you can get it anywhere for pretty cheap, but it tastes like gourmet torte or something!

You have to try it! You can usually find them anywhere. They're also pretty easy to make; the only thing that takes a little extra effort is the coconut topping, but that's pretty simple as long as you have a good recipe.

Alright, so I read your review, so what happened last night?

Well, I finally got around to reading the story (I've been really busy lately, sorry!), and was about to review it. Then my dad called me to get him some ice cream. So I go and get him ice cream, and then Carlos wanted some. I ended up just getting everyone (including myself) some ice cream. I went back into my room to write my review when my cat, who had been sleeping under the computer desk, decided to get up and stretch. When he dashed out from under the desk, he yanked out the computer cord! Or rather, the cord to the power strip that the computer is connected to. Either way, the computer went blank.
So I go to boot the computer back up... and guess what? Carlos comes in and says "I need to transmit". She works as a merchandiser, and her hand-held computer thing that she uses for work has to "transmit" every night. Whenever she does this, she has to disconnect the internet so that her handheld can do its thing. Usually it takes about ten to fifteen minutes, but sometimes it can take hours. Guess what kind of night it was last night? The damned thing took a long time to finish, and by then I had fallen asleep...
Yeah, it was one of those situations that kinda builds on itself... Sorry!

Good plan! It's good to get some use out of things; I hate the concept of prom dresses and such, where you spend so much money on clothing that you'll only wear once. So wasteful! Besides, if you enjoy dressing as a certain character, why not do it?
