The best way to show appreciation for a writer is by giving feedback.

I can make GIFS, and take photos. Despite this, I am first, and foremost, a writer. Oh I also edit (more like beta read since I'm not legitimately recognized as an editor) stories for grammar mistakes and such. I really should charge, but I'd better get more recognition before I consider doing such.
