Hi! I was chatting to Melissa (Shelinda) about cosplay and I was wondering if you could help me. I'm planning to cosplay Lucil eventually and was wondering how you made your Elma armour. I was thinking of using a similar technique for Lucil's arm plates. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

OHOHOHO. Lemme know if you ever do Lucil to Ota, I'll bring elma back out. I actually used craftfoam! You cut out a pattern that fits your body (i used muslin) and then you cut out the foam, glue the muslin on the back with a glue/water mixture (a little glue in the cup and mix until watery) to stabilize it. I also did the glue/water on the front to seal the craftfoam for paint. After that I used floor wax and brushed that over to make sure it was sealed. Then I just painted accordingly, and I added a little age with darker colors around the edges to make it look not as new. To attach I used Bias Tape and velcro. Yay! If you have any more questions, please ask!
