and it really already looks like a great homage! It's great that you keep to your own style in storytelling and personalities, since that way your work stands out from all the manga-esque school comics which are often seen on dA or smackjeeves. Don't loose that unique touch, it makes me want more! XD

I've gotten thoroughly sick of the old manga cliches so that should explain it a little . My storytelling is a lot more Western style, I think.
Everyone has slumps, its especially hard to come back once you're out of practise! Hoepfully you'll get time to regain your cofidence in your art soon <3!

yes, it indeed IS more western and has the feel of a "web comic" - where authors can do what they want and create something like they envision it themselves. Since commercial work is often too censored or uses the same old jokes.
and btw, I just love stories about con artists (the reason I adore guy richie's movies and one particular british series about a team of con artists, the titel of which I aaaalways forget XD), so seing a whole family of con artists was a big for me!

I really hope so too! Only one month of university left and after that I'm free free freeeee!

That's what I worry about with getting my work published by a proper company- I'd have to water down a lot of stuff and I really don't want to. Perhaps for new ventures I will look into publishing... but Art School Sub Rosa is my first baby so I will shape it as I want to Seeing as it's mostly experimental, lol.

I loooooove Guy Ritchie's movies too- Snatch is one of my alltime favorites- his plots are always so fast-paced and all the characters paths are so hilariously intertwined! If you ever remember the name of that show let me know, I want to check it out!
And congrats on (almost) making it through uni!

Either that or maybe some smaller independent publisher would be ready to take your series as it is. You could look into such magazines like fixit mag... too bad I don't know american publishers that well, I'm more knowledgable about german and russian ones...

Yeah, Snatch is really one great movie! The climax was such fast reel of events, most of which were unexpected and when the credits finally started, I was all like "WTF was that O______O" the fact, that I was 11 years old when I first watched it, made the impact even stronger XD oh wow, Snatch is already so old....how time flies! X'D

found it! [link] I wasn't able to watch that much of this show but the episodes I did manage to catch were great!
ugh, no congratulations for now, please, I'm quite at a difficult point atm. If I mess up, I'll have my re-examination in octover and that would be so not nice

That's the exact way I felt when I first saw snatch, it was so quick and full of twists, my mind had trouble adjusting back to real world speed, lol!
I'm gonna watch that show though, it looks awesome

lol, yeah. I usually know my way around airports since I fly like 15+ times per year but I know the feeling XD the worst thing is that IT TAKES SO MUCH TIME!!! Like 3-4 hours before the flight to have to leave home, then after the landing you spend at least half an hour (or 3, if you're unlucky) at customs and waiting for luggage and then you still need to get somewhere, grrrr!! Guy Richie made it into 3 seconds. Whoooosh! Such flights could have deen awesome.

yeah, they still have to fix the problem of wrong realining of the atoms... means the fingers of the test subjects ended up on their heads or they missed limbs in the end. One dog even disappeared into nothingness. Soo... you want a businees or ecomony class ticket?
