I'm relatively new to DA (made an account just so I could type this for you), but I've lurked around here and there. Found your art via a comment on the Overwatch one year thing. I like your art! Your McCree is actually rather well drawn, if not a bit too up in my face. Nothing wrong with that, though! If you're open to constructive critisism (which I hope you are, as I really don't mean any offense when I say all of this!), I would like to note that much of your art lacks noticable planning. It feels like you've looked at an empty canvas and simply drawn the figures above that blank sheet, no pre-render sketching. Now, there's nothing wrong with this at all! In fact, I think some of your art benefits from it! I just feel that you could do so much better and produce much higher quality art if you did some small line work. By this, I mean: sketch out a circle indicating where a characters head will go, and draw in (with a transparent brush of sorts, color doesnt really matter) the varying background shapes in extremely low detail (a bridge would be a single line of gray, and the body of your character would be several blocks of blue, as an example). You're very good at applying hair dynamics and fabrics in your works, so keep working on that! Overall, I really like your stuff, but I see such a room for improvement. I see greater talent hiding under your art! Unlock it!Β

Thank you for this long message. Of course I appreciate constructive critisism. I'm currently working hard on improving my digital art, and you're right I need to practice composition and poses. Thank you for your tips! I do sketch before I go on with my lineart, however due to finishing highschool I could only find little time to practise.
But now that I have more time I will try my best to work on that! Feel free to join me on my art journey and continue giving helpful tips. Β
