Probably the biggest difficulty was merging symbols without making one side seem unequal and also the trouble with the combined colors being similar to those of countries such as Luxembourg etc. Glad you like the series though!

Oh. Yes I have heard of this politcal movement. ^^
I have been a huge fan boy of the Schwarz-Gelbe Allianz as a 14 year old. XD
They have interesting views and I agree with most of them. They are a little anti-german which I don't like though. But otherwise they have great ideas. They are rather centrist and seem reasonable... but they also dream big... and sorta want to recreate Austria-Hugnary by merging Czechia, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia and Croatia into one alliance of states ruled by one Habsburg emperor. ^^"

Sadly that's really unrealistic... and currently no Habsburg has shown any real interest in trying to re-take the throne.

But it's good to see that monarchism still is so very alive in Austria!^^

Well, National Socialism origianlly was left nationalism. Strasserism was the variant of it that still stayed left. Hitlerism became more right wing whatsoever. They adapted more capitialistic ideals and got heavily influenced by Italian fascism. But from my point of view they aren't true centrists. They became a fanatic ideology that simply wipes out any resistance against it. One can argue if NatSoc truly is in the center or already is right or still sorta left. I would say that NatSoc has crossed the border of what can be considered centrist. They were totalitarian. They didn't accept any other than themselves. For me there is only authoritarian centrism and libertarian centrism. The only ones with a chance to prevail as a politcal philosphy are the ones that don't compromise all the time. The authoritarian centrists. People who are exactly in the center usually aren't real centrists yet. They probably have too less clue about politics to move further in any direction. Literally all poltically active centrists have a small drift up or down or even left or right. Strong opinions always show some effect.

Anyways... to conclude and answer your question with my opinion.... National Socialism fails the main principle of centrism. Trying to keep society from drifting too far left or right. National Socialism took in society and let it drift too far in an direction they pleased. For me this isn't what centrism is about. But yeah. One can argue about this...
