Haha, yeah. Practice is the key to everything... =u= Therefore I shall make it my goal to PRACTICE MORE. But it's difficult when you're unmotivated... 8DDD;; //shot Do you ever get the feeling like "I want to draw, but I can't think of any ideas"? Ah yes, I was like that before >.>; I figure people with lack of idea are because they can't imagine a 3D-shape of anything they want to draw and might be other reasons I still don't figure out yet, like 'humans in any eye views', 'scenery with full of flower this and flower that'. This need practice too, that's why most artists carry their sketchbook and draw any objects they meet in streets and other places. This will take times, but at higher level ideas will appear easily and you'll feel it My dreams help me making ideas, but these days for a few times I can make my own

Nah it's not weird at all For me, I can draw any time if I'm not lazy..., but mostly at night 'coz that's the only time I'm on computer to get references when I'm stuck

Yeah... Well, I guess I'll be more motivated to practice drawingeventually. For some reason lately I've really wanted to draw castles. Or churches. Or any really fancy "old" building. Is that weird? Do you ever get times when you really want to draw a specific type of object? ;;; Probably because when it comes to people... all I'm thinking about nowadays is my favorite anime series... I've been doodling so much of all those characters but I won't upload them because they suck my scanner is broken sobsob.

Ahh... maybe that's it. For some reason, when it's bright out I feel so sleepy and tired... the sunlight saps away my energy to draw. Maybe I'm actually part owl or bat...? "OTL Also, do you ever draw with friends at the same time? For me, it's hard to draw seriously when I'm hanging out because it's more fun to make derpy drawings that we can laugh at. But it's not good for practicing legitimate drawing skills... LMAO. ;;;

It's normal for me. Castles aren't my thing, but I always wanted to draw cathedral especially its interior. I love to see old factory like your pict I faved, abandoned buildings O_o , places that look 'empty' and mysterious (I don't know how to describe it better...), and I don't like future building I guess this isn't something people will think it's weird, people can love everything as long as they're not lustful and not for negative-use >.<

You should upload them so people can see you I still do even I have a feeling to kill my scanner for the same problem ;-;

I often had plan to collabs with friends, and we ended up going somewhere instead drawing

Ohh, yeah. Cathedrals are lovely! Drawing them can be so fun... especially the teeny tiny details. Even though it takes a long time... when the end result turns out well, it's definitely worth it! \o/ I think future buildings can be interesting in their own ways as well, but I definitely like old buildings more as well. c: Haha, I guess people can like all sorts of things for many different reasons. To each, his own!

Haha, that's so funny! But when hanging out with friends, there are lots of other things that you can do besides drawing so I get your feeling. But have you ever collaborated with somebody online? Like if an online friend from dA did lineart and you colored it, or you drew lineart and the other person colored it? ;u;

Usually people just have some basic general guidelines. \o/ You can probably check around and look at other people's commission/request rules for ideas. c:
