# About me
I'm Liz. I am from Chicago, Illinois and I am (19 years old - wow, I haven't updated this in forever!) 24 years old. I have loved photography ever since I was about 5 years old.Photography has been a lifelong passion of mine. I originally wanted to go to college for photography, but when my 18 year old brother died on October 31st, 2013, I knew I could do something more with my life. It took a while to get started, but in August of 2016, I finally started my classes go become an EMT. My goal is to become a Paramedic, and nothing will stand in my way.
My brother was my main motivator in my love for photography, and without him in my life anymore, I drifted away from the thing that gave me the most joy. I stopped photographing for a long time, and I felt aweful. It took me a while, but I had to get back doing what I loved most, and in the summer of 2015, I restarted my brother's and my publication, Main Stage Magazine, back up.
I still continue to photograph concerts and bands, but not as often as I would like, because my brother isn't by my side anymore. Photography will always be a huge part of my life, and my brother helped me realize it.
I will be forever indebted to him, and I will miss him for the rest of my life.
