Hi, my name is Jolie, I’m originally from South Africa but have lived in Australia for most of my life. I’m a self taught digital artist as well as a potter.
I started potting when I was 13 and digital painting (or any painting for that matter) soon after, and I am happy to say that I have stuck with both for many years.

Just checked out your portfolio; some gorgeous artwork in there. I really like your art style; it screams modern Disney in both look and quality (that's a compliment, by the way!). I can’t thank you enough, that is really encouraging to hear! And certainly something for me to keep in mind.
I’m currently building up stock to start selling my first artbooks and notebooks, and so it is nice to know that it will hopefully be well received!

How long have you been digital painting? You have gotten the smooth line art down pat!

I have been drawing using a wacom for 10 years. As animator I have to do a lot of drawings so it helps me as practice. But I still feel that I have to improve a lot.

Wow, that’s a pretty long time, I’ve only really been doing it for about three years now so I still have a way to go.
Yep, I feel you there, I’m currently trying to improve on my flow, motion, and consistency when drawing characters.
I use Procreate on the iPad and recently upgraded to using the pro with the pencil.
What kind of animation do you do? I’m wanting to go on a course soon, always wanted to learn.

I made 2d animation. I use Adobe animate or Toon Boom.
I do animations for TV or Movies but I also do my own projects.
