I've only been able to do one thing and that was finish last year's picture for an art project. ;__; I think that once I figure out my "how to get SAI working on my mac with pressure sensitivity and without using a virtual machine" problem, I will start a new account and do some advertising for commissions. I need money for college, and since I can't get a car right now, I have no way to get to a job. Plus a job is pointless right now when I'm moving to Alabama in a month and a half...it's such a dilamma!

Hmm. Depending on your harddrive size, maybe it would just be easier to dual boot windows just for Sai?

A lot of the kids I do my programming classes with do that.

I have a 512 gig solid state drive, so yes I could. But don't you have to get a program to be able to do that? And I don't want to have to spend $200 on Windows 7, but if it's the only way, I guess I will have to. By the way, I redid my "Flowers and Feathers" picture with the background I wanted that wasn't for school. I'll note you with a link. xD

Yeah, life has been crazy. I don't see how anyone in college has the time to work on the things they want to work on. Maybe it's just me. I hope things are going well with you. Whether you choose to stick with photomanips or digital art is your choice. But I want you to do whatever makes you happy. That's what important and that's what shows in your work. Best of luck with whatever you choose though!

Hmm I suppose that's true. It would definitely run better than an emulator though. Things are too expensive these days

Oh and believe me, I have been swamped with university work too. I'm grateful that I don't have any classes where I'd have to write essays. Typing up programs every week was enough to make my brain meltdown. I was fine with coding, but my teacher wanted a million and one boring little comments through out explaining what my programs were doing. *rages* I know it helps for bug checking etc, but ugh I'd rather just code.

Hahahaha! Well if you did, I didn't realize it. I understand a little about coding, but not much. But that (besides having to comment so much) sounds amazing. What types of programs do you code? It sounds really interesting to me. And who knows, I may end up having to do things like that too.

Oh and I realized that if I got Windows 7...I'd still have to get another copy of photoshop unless I keep restarting my computer every time I want to switch between programs since I work in both...*sigh*

I'm only first year computer science so I can only program simplistic Java based programs. I did pretty well as the course got harder. I have to thank my programming teacher for some of that though, he was really could at solidifying the basics for all of us. It was crazy though. The class really had a huge range in marks!

Yea the restarting can be a pain. I have a friend that dual boots because he works in design and different companies use different OS's. We'll be talking on MSN and he'll be like, "just a sec, I got to switch sides" every 30mins or so LOL

I don't know if I'll ever get back into art though I feel very uninspired and VERY lacking in skills.

If I do come back to it, it'll probably be to do something significantly different than before.

I haven't drawn in months because of school and other interests...

Your drawing style is great! But I understand that it is impossible to draw if there is no inspiration. I don't have much inspiration to do deviations.

I am happy that you haven't removed your drawings from dA. Those are in the scraps now but it is much better than no deviations at all. Many artists that I liked have removed all or many of their deviations from dA and that is a sad thing.

I hope that you'll have a great spring, summer, autumn and winter and 2011 et cetera.

Life is busy with school and all, but it's going ok. I'm hoping to get back into the whole DA scene soon though. I've been neglecting it too much and miss talking with everyone here lately!

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I've been beaten to death with prepping for school. I start in just over a week, but I've become a total nerd and been reviewing and previewing already. It's been ages sing I had a full course load; I'm a bit scared I won't be able to handle it.
