No, I don't review fanfictions. I serve as a beta reader for my sister's original fiction, her ongoing writing project, The Puppeteer.

I don't mind giving critiques, but I don't like it when people explode in a massive, immature hissy fit. For critiquing I am blunt to the point of insult. My sister can handle me. But can you?

I don't like negative criticism but I hate being left in the dust even more!

Conal, I'm a bit confused here....My sister was upfront with you. You asked if she reviewed fan fictions and she told you what she reviews. She mentioned her critiquing style to give you a fair warning, so you can decide whether or not to go through with her critiquing the works that need it. Your profile was never an issue.

Her major concern is also a major problem on dA. Many claim and accuse others of negative criticism when in truth the criticism isn't negative. It's a matter of perspective. For some, pointing out any problems and giving suggestions to fix them is seen as unfair, cruel, emasculating, pretentious bullshit and they're better off with only praise. This attitude chases away the very help they desire. I have made critiques without insult and I have been treated like a horrible monster, a bully. And some of the things I've mentioned to them are very standard and expected in writing class!

hmmmm well I never once in my entire life have ever gotten emotional over people pointing out any errors to things I have, like my base, in fact I hardly ever get upset over silly little things at all....
