Well, I don't know if we're even looking at the same journal, but not only can I not reply, but my original comment, which was not forceful or insulting in any way, has been hidden.
And my original statement stands...whoever did these actions is immature and can't take criticism on their decision, when, as I read, you agree with me. Maybe someone needs to tell this member that getting permission from the artist will NEVER happen.
It's completely absurd...but I'm glad you have a level enough head to understand the issue well enough.

I heard it at Shutocon. Volume nine came out in Japan, but it's not going to be translated, and Kouga's not writing any more! I hope she's not dead...

I'm sure it's not true. There's always rumors that go around about Kouga-sensei stopping Loveless but none of them have ever been true. In fact, she put out a chapter just last month, and I'm nearly positive she released one this month too. Also, Kouga-sensei is just fine. She posted on her twitter a month ago that she's fine from the earthquake and she is keeping on drawing.
