I've been doing alright. Still playing video games which led me to develop a love of the persona series. Oh, speaking of games, have you heard of the Gyakuten Saiban 5 announcement?

Persona is a good series. Very deep and riddled with philosophy, imo. And yes, I heard of the announcement for GS5. Thoughts?

Persona is an amazing series only flaw I can find with those games is how they take 80 hours, but that's not really a flaw. I'm personally happy beyond words they're making another one, that they ditched Apollo, and that Phoenix isn't a hobo anymore. My bank account is pissed because now I have to buy a 3DS for both that and Professor Layton.

I've yet to play any game in the series. But I really enjoyed P4: The anime. It was good.

I don't know if they retconned Apollo or not. I'm starting to think he'll make an appearance in the game though.

I doubt that they'd go as far as retconning Apollo. I didn't particularly hate him. It was mostly the "welp, Phoenix is a hobo now" which they could have handled better in my opinion.

It was a weird add on, since they established this giant reason why Phoenix became a hobo. Yet...they never really established Apollo beyond being "new!Phoenix" in my opinion. I'm hoping that if he is in GS5, they'll try to develop his character more.

That game was very weird, indeed. It's not that I hate Apollo, mostly that I hated how they just acted like the first three games did not exist so Phoenix's story felt weird which did not help Apollo's. There aren't enough details at the moment, so I have no clue how they're tackling this, but they better not ignore what's happened in past games. Oh, and they should get on localizing AAI2 :/

There were a few references to the previous installments. But otherwise, it didn't feel like Apollo's story. In fact, Apollo was only used as a tool to tell Wright's story which made the game lackluster.

Considering Capcom plans to translate GS5 too, I do hope we get AAI2 overseas.
