Thanks a lot!! As for explaining, my english isn't the best, but i hope it's understandable anyway...
After sketching the whole thing (with opaque black lines on a white plain background), i focus on the face first (I don't always do, but on the "grey agust d" that's what i did). I put a photo reference or two on the side of my drawing to get right the main facial features. After I finish this step, i put the main colors in a layer under the sketch. I start adding the shades and lights (starting with the most important ones, like the jaw, nose and around the eyes)... I always keep my brush on full opacity, so at first everything looks really weird and ugly, but the more you add other color spots it becomes better and better. When the sketch lines start to get annoying, especially those for the nose and lips, i start adding color on top of them to cover them. Before finishing the face, i start doing the body and the background (i won't really explain this part because i'm still not really happy with how the body and background look).

I think the most important thing for getting this kind of style is to always keep the brush on full opacity when drawing... but really, it's only the second drawing i did using this method, so at this point i'm pretty much just trying out different styles and experimenting- but i'm glad you like it!!
