Every month except August (Burning Man) and usually a combined one for Nov/December so we don't do one right at Thanksgiving or Christmas!

I discovered that chest stands are very easy to get into if you're wearing platform boots. It's awesome. 8D (I'm caffeinated! WEEEEEE!)

Quick question- How do you get into a chest stand? Lie on the ground and kick over, or go into it from a backbend? My back muscles seem to be pathetic and I can't get into it from lying down without a pillow.

I lay on the ground and lift.. I have pretty strong back muscles though.. I was originally taught by a friend to arch your back, (like in a cobra position) and then fall/roll forward for momentum, but if you chicken out and pull your stomach in. it will hurt. I'm glad I got strong enough to lift because I didn't like hurling myself toward to floor.. (i got chin bruises.) I don't think I can do it from a backbend unless I tuck my feet under something so they don't fly away. I'll give it a try though.. do the platform boots help because they make your feet heavier?

I'm going to start working on my back muscles now, and from falling forward.
The extra weight does help, but it also gives you another three or four inches because the soles are super-thick. It's rather awesome!
