Freaking AMAZING! I just stumbled upon these maps in a search about trees (go figure) and yours popped up. I never knew this existed! Very fascinating genre. I can't emphasize enough how exquisite your maps are. I play a lot of RPG games like Elder Scrolls and was a huge DnD (dungeons and dragons) player in my day and your artwork make me feel so nostalgic. I would love to try this but it looks super complex. I'm just starting to get into the space genre and would love to create my own maps for planets. Any tips on getting started?

Well, I'd use Photoshop, but if you're more comfortable with paper and pencil, why not? The best, but maybe not easiest solution would be a vector graphics editor.
