Just place your mouse cursor (don't click yet) on your icon/avatar/ID pic/logo and you will notice a 'pencil' on the top-right hand corner of the icon/avatar. Once you see the pencil icon on the avatar, then you click on it...From there, a box will appear for you to upload your picture logo in.

Alright, I got it. The problem was I had to have my mouse on the edge of the icon, and I kept putting it in the center. XD

You know normal Deviant site you could put your ID photo and it will be displayed on the profile.

After changing Dutch-DevMeet to a group, the ID photo is no longer on the group profile. Do you know how to put it back?

I would love to, but you'll have to enable people to join as members first.

To do this, go to the admin area, click "manage members", click "members" and under "Join Requests:" select "Are automatically Approved" or "Are subject to vote" (then you'll have to accept them manually). Then post a blog on the group (which is the same thing as a journal, just for a group) to tell people that it's been converted to a group, and that they need to join.

Also, if you haven't yet, I advice you to Unsplinter your messages, so not to splinter them, otherwise it's all to easy to forget to check Group Messages.

As for the ID, i recommend you upload it from your own account, create a collection for it on the group, and put the collection on the front page.

Gladly.

You can decide that for yourself They're all admin roles that you can fill in in endless different ways. The only limit is that there can only be one founder, but you can change the settings for what powers the co-founders and contributors have and what powers they don't have. If that makes sense?
So there needn't be any difference, or there could be big differences, but you can determine that all for yourself.

I'm thinking of you...to co-run this club. Yet, I don't know you well enough like whether you're willing to be dedicated to it. First I need to know all the functionalities in this Group before I make any big decision on creating the hierarchy.

You said...for a while. >_< Looking for a long-term. As for now, I'm still able to run it but after this 2010 meet; I might step down or perhaps have that person co-running it. I don't want this club to just 'die' down if you know what I mean and let those bigger group have their BIG meet. Ja, such as the Netherlands group. It makes me upset that one of the founders approached me and asked if they could help. We willingly accepted but after that no news from her. We informed her that we had posted up the article in DevMeets and she didn't bother to reply to that message. Totally been ignored. Not sure if you understood what I feel or trying to express to you. Might seem like a competition, maybe or maybe not but I don't like competitions.

This club is about meeting up with people who have some special talent. A meet to show and discuss about art and ANYTHING else in life. A place to have fun and not to just talk talk talk but having games too. Moreover a meet that gets one to explore his/her own country in different cities.

I thought you meant just for getting it started as group and such. If you're thinking long term, I will gladly step in as well, the one problem is that I am already admin of 10 groups and that's the limit. But there's a solution; I have an alternate account so i can join your admin team with that.

At least you have a great vision of what it should be like, that helps a lot.

O_o TEN! Wow...that is so many. Name them all. I believe you're not the only one running them. Are you a founder of any of them?

I think it should be easy running this club because there isn't much of activities to do. Since I'm not going to put some $$$ into DevArt's pocket thus, there's no poll. Maybe, just maybe might come up with some ideas to make this group a fun place other than it being an 'announcement' club for the next DevMeet.

The purpose for this group also is to have a meet even though when I'm not around. I mean, it cost me a lot to fly to the Netherlands so I don't go there many times in a year. Besides, next year I might not be going to NL because of money and perhaps study (if I get accepted, really hoping to get accepted). Well, so I'm hoping that the meets could also be during Spring or Summer et cetera.

Someone could help ~LuffieJJ with the organising in real. You see, I'd been organising this with Luffie since 2008. I'm hoping that someone will help her with it too. It doesn't mean that I'm not turning up in the meet means I'm no longer in the club. I'll still overwatch it and see how it runs. Like an onlooker/watcher/guardian

#lyriclub (i am the founder here, I started it), #Lyrics-Community (i am the founder, but i didn't start it, I took it over from someone else), #LyricalPoets (same story), #Project-Pay-Forward (i contribute here as helper, i don't really have an admin role as such), #ProjectDevDesigners (same story as PPF), #ProjectComment (I volunteer here, similar to the situation at PPF again), #SongofthePoets (I'm the groups reporter, and vice-founder), #write-to-live (originally critiquer here, but now i'm helping out with other things as well) and #Xpose-it (`Kaz-D invited me as a commenter there after seeing my efforts for #ProjectComment , and when she saw my efforts for xpose-it they invited me to be co-founder here, so not the founder but I do a lot). A long list indeed.

Yep, that would be awesome. Although i have no ideas myself.

And yeah, I see. I can co-run the group with you, and maybe take it over one day if needed.

I see, yes, that makes sense. I'm a bit of a control freak over my own group, as well, i do trust my co admin to do what they think is good, it's just never as much to my liking as i hoped.. but that's only my own fault, of course, everyone's different.
