Hehe, yeah, Friday nights can be quite mental at times, though this passed friday was quiet for me. XD This weekend i wasn't doing much except listening to a few music tracks from "X-Ray Dog and Audiomachine", a few new music studios that I've just recently discovered and they've got some nice tracks there.
Have you ever heard of X-Ray Dog before?

The house got trashed, most people got injured and I pissed on my carpet and passed out naked in aviator sunglasses and a massive afro wig....so yeah I'd say it went alright!

I only cleaned it all up today, it happened saturday of LAST week haha 10 days later hahaa

Nice! Hey man! sorry for not replying earlier, I just came from vacation with my parents, first time in 11 years and it was fantastic to, especially when we visited Victoria falls!

Haven't been drawing much lately, I spend most of my time in the garage (constant party) so there's not much time for drawing, should start again soon

Hope you'll get your opportunity one day, It's quite an experience.

Quite allot, from Caprivi (north east Namibia) we started our trip, traveled through Zimbabwe for 4 days, stayed for an week at Lighthouse reef in Mozambique at the coast, went to south africa afterwards, staying in Durban for four days and visit Ushaka sea world, went to a rugby match with my father which was besides V falls for me the best on this trip, enjoying lots of beer with many other people while watching the match, it was wicked cool and the atmosphere there was just indescribable. After 4 days went to Knysna and stayed there for 3 days and then went back to Windhoek. From there on out for the past few months I was busy helping my uncle finish building campsites. 2 Months later after the first trip we went on another vacation trip and only traveled or visited the southern areas of south africa were we missed out on the first trip and to visit our families there. Places such as Springbok, Capetown, Woester, Hermanus, were we saw whales on boat which was quite an experience as well. And some town at the most southernly point of africa/can't remember the name of it, then Mosselbaai, George, Oudshoring, were I got to ride an ostrich, and then visited Knysna again for the 2nd time, and returned home the beginning of October. I tell you this year was really something for me.

I am "bandless" at the moment, I may end up singing for my mates band, duno what they're called though *shrugs*

Sweet! I'm guna come over with my girlfriend in the summer, she's never been to Africa. Think she'll love it, I think we'll be looking after Rhinos at some point too

Hmmmm not much really, well, a lot of little things, I've been doing graphics design for a magazine and the cover photos, besides from that just loadsa parties HAAa So you now back at home for good?

Hope everything will go well for you. I always had these ideas of becoming a film music composer like Hans Zimmer, Vangelis, Harry Gregson Williams Tyler Bates, Jesper Kyd or Kevin Riepl whom I like, but well see if that will happen one day. Who's your favourite band though? mine is Nickelback.

Yeah I just found a free model/skin maker called GMAX I'll play around on it some more after I check out some tutorials. I'm feeling really damn creative but have to direction. It SHOULD be easier that way...but for some reason it isn't.

I AM DOING NOTHING 'cus xmas is stressing me out, having to buy/make presents for people although I have no money, after xmas/newyears then I can chill out and focus on doing something creative, writing, drawing, "GMAXing", etc.

Hehe, Namibia is nice.

Zimmer is quite a famous composer. He just recently scored for the movie Inception and heard it was one of his best scores yet. I first came to know about Zimmer when he scored for movie The Lion King which was my Favorite movie when I was a young lad at 5 and came to like the score as well. His other works includes Pirates of the Caribbean, Gladiator, Mission Imposable, The Last Samurai, King Arthur and many other movies.
Yeah, Tyler Bates was the composer for the score of 300 and some other movies scores like Whatchmen, Doomsday, Dawn of the Dead, and I heard his scoring for this new movie Sucker Punch '' [link] '' whom is directed by Zack Snyder ( director of 300, Whatchmen and Legend of the Guardians-Owls of Ga'hoole). This new movie is really kick ass cool and can't wait to see it.
Kevin Riepl scored for many video games i cant remember which ones exactly. The only games i remember were Unreal Tournament 2003 and 2004 which had nice scores.
Same to Jesper Kyd, he also scored for mostly games like Assassins creed, Unreal Tournament 3 (2007) and many more.
Harry Gregson williams scores the same as Zimmer for many movies like Prince of Persia, Chronicles of Narnia, Kingdom of Heaven, ect.
Vangelis is known as one of the best Electronic music composers and did scores for 1492, Alexander, Bladerunner, and also scored the main theme for the Fifa soccer world cup 2002. Vangelis mostly helped a few music bands with creating themes for them in his younger years.

Yeah, I know what it feels like, some of our X-masses were the same for the past previous years.
