Hello! I was wondering, for your Rimmer cosplay, what you made your H out of and how you got it to stick?

The H is just cardboard. Local shops did those little metal trays with the cardboard lids and fold over edges - like the ones you get from chinese takeaways. Bought some of them because the cardboard lids were silver and shiny. Cut them up into various H designs until I found a size I liked.

As for sticking it on, when sticking anything to skin I used plasters. Plasters are designed to stick to the skin. If you cut away the actual padded bit and just use the sticky parts, you can roll them into tubes. Stick these tubes behind the H and press to your forehead : )

Yes, I HAVE a Ninth Doctor cosplay but my hair has never been short enough to pull it off properly and I'm kinda reluctant to get it cut so short. So maybe one day soon there will be a slightly longer haired 9th Doctor XD
My next costume is Captain Jack Harkness, for a photoshoot with John Barrowman and the rest of the cast of Torchwood :) (Smile)

Had something of a cosplay geekgasm. And I know lots of convention people on DA. And I don't want to spam my Facebook with loads of cosplay stuff cos I use that for other things as well. Where as Facebook is like 'General Me' this online presence is 'Me as a cosplayer plus awesome Doctor Who related photos and stuff'.

I like that one as well - at that particular con she was wearing a coat that was fairly Riverish, as opposed to the dress I've seen her wear at other cons. So it looks like a nice River/Doctor photo :D (Big Grin)

Thanks! I've been going to conventions for a few years now and collecting costumes and photos but never really thought of putting them out there on an online platform. Also loads of people I know through conventions use DA, so I figured I'd best join up : )
