I finished the Monkey King staff I told you about a few months ago, but my professor just now emailed a picture of me holding it. I'll try to get some up-close photos at the end of the semester. Like I said, it is pretty heavy due to it being made from a black iron pipe.

I haven't had a chance to upload the Journey to the West antecedent that I told you about. I just wanted to share a TED talk that I thought you might find interesting. It talks about the history of people living in fantasy worlds (e.g., cosplayers)--since at least the 1890s--and how it is connected to the conflicting ideologies that people have. It would be a good video to show to anyone who disapproves of cosplaying.
