Hi I love your artworks they are awesome.
I recently found your steampunk/mechanical ones?
I am currently in an art course in college and I just wanted to know if I could ask some questions about you and your work.
If not then I will understand that you are a busy person, I just need evidence that I interviewed an artist.

Can't believe I haven't found your gallery earlier. Your artworks are gorgeous. *v* Like seeing something between modern and victorian artworks.

Haha, I doubt it. Got back from holiday the night before, so all I did was collect the dog from kennels and sit around being tired. And didn't have enough food in to make a cake! (though that's since been amended)

Well on the flip side of things apparently you were on a holiday just before (was it a good one?)
And what manner of cake was made?

Ahah well that's true. it was indeed - just a typical sun and sea one in Portugal.
Chocolate pistachio. Aww yiss!
How was your uneventful day?

Well we celebrated a day early since I would be heading back to camp the day right after my birthday and my mother would be flying to Toronto to see my aunt (unfortunately my uncle died a few days ago). I can't say I did much more than eat cake (Belgian chocolate) steak and drink some beers... And tinker a bit with my sawmill which continues to cause trouble. The following day on my proper birthday I basically just drove my mom to town to the airport and got ready to head back to camp and another month of work (and stocked up on beer).

Mmmmm can't go wrong with chocolate cake... but hopefully the cake and steaks were separate. beer and cake might not be so bad.
But I'm sorry to hear about your uncle!

I prefer mocha in particular. And yes they were separate. I can imagine some dark beers being good with cake, stouts or porters.
And yeah, something of an abrupt thing. So it goes.

Hi there! I'm new to DeviantArt, and I used one of your pictures as a reference for my first hand studies for my O levels art exam coming soon. I hope you don't mind! Here's how it looks. toastmidget.deviantart.com/artβ¦

Hi, it looks great! Good job - but in future I would prefer if you asked permission to use a work beforehand. Sometimes people will not want a work used for any reason so it's always best to ask if you can.

To be honest, I was down with stomach flu, but I'm feeling much better now - and it is actually snowing here in Athens, which is a very rare occurence. So, in short, I couldn't be better!

Ooh no! That's a shame. That's the only thing i really hate about winter: it's a giant obstacle course of trying to avoid colds and flu and other nasties.
Glad you're feeling better, and that it's snowing!! No snow here still, but hopefully soon.

Hahah! I'm really strange; though it's rarely below 10oC here in Athens, I personally love the cold! It never really bothers me, whilst the heat makes me feel like I'm falling apart. But when it comes to the dreaded flu, I'm always in the vanguard! In fact, I've described myself as a "flu compass", informing the others of when a new strain is out and what it feels like. Β
Hopefully your immune system is in a better working order than mine, you'll most likely need it! And I hope it won't be long until the familiar whites of winter pay you a vists as well. All my best!
