ehh idk I haven't been there in a looooonnnnnnggggg time, but there obviously are alot of people... seem a little different then California idk since i never went to california.. But Osaka has alot of Japanese culture i guess like famous buildings and all. But I want to go to akihabara more since im now a big anime fan lol but yeah Osaka is a good place to eat takoyaki and FOOOD well actually japan in general have yummy food.... I <3 the bending machines and candy sooo much and the fruit is just really good too.

All i enjoyed about japan was really the food ... lol but see thats because I was like 9ish back then... so yeah just followed mommy oh also you can go into hot springs don't miss out on that... and know that you have to wear swimming caps when you swim in pools and soo many other things about japanese culture and manners

well if your close enough like best friends and family its ok (well my family does it though...) to share food... but like its bad to do it by passing on food with chopsticks to chopstick if you get what im sayin... the reason is because there's this ceremony to people who passed away and it involves passing on something like a offering with chopsticks... also don't stab your chopsticks straight up on your food too... again the funeral ceremony kinda thing/offering to the dead...

Swimming caps are needed because in japan and some other asian countries have filters on their pools(for cleanness reasons) and so hair can get clogged up in it so yeah some pool require you to put on a swimming cap.

osaka is famous for takoyaki and okonomiyaki and theres alot of sight seeing. If you go to the Nara temple you can feed deers they sell shikasenbe (deer crackers) and its really fun

Mochi is yummy but you always have to eat it with something because it has noooooo flavor but its good with alot of things like ozoni, or just toast it alittle (yakimochi) and put soysause on it (i prefer to add a little sugar on it ) , in winters you would mostly see oshiruko, which is redbean paste soup with mochi in it. but all ways be careful with mochi because you can choke on it easily because its verrrryyyy sticky and chewy. Have you seen the anime danshi koukousei no nichijou? because they did a joke on choking on mochi... Also if go to any asian store they mostly have mochi and mochi rice (you have to clean it, steam it, and then pound it until its like dough adding water softens it alittle but don't add tooo much) you can also buy mochi icecream (the icecream has mochi around it) but some people don't like mochi's consistency and some brands have a different consistency too... like recently my family couldn't get japanese brand mochi rice, so we tried this korean one and it was pretty good . Theres also this powder sweet mochi which you just add water and microwave it to make sweet mochi, my mom usually uses it for ichigo daifuku the inside has a strawberry and anko in it (my american friends didn't like how mushi it was so they didn't like it but my chinese friend loved it lol)

I'm going to assume that mochi in Japan is a lot like rice or
beans in Mexico.

Maybe it's just me, but most Americans don't necessarily like
the foreign foods other than what they get at restaurants. :/
I also noticed that people who have parents who aren't American
tend to like foreign food. I'm Mexican-American and I love all
the things xD (well except ginger soup xP icky!)

i guess so it depends on the American really... well no it depends on the person actually because everyone has different tastes. Like im a picky eater so i don't like ALLL the food in japan. When I was little i hated alot of things like ginger to shitake mushrooms but now i kinda like them more. Yeah ginger is very powerful and spicy at times but its reallllyyy good to have it as soup when your sick because it heats you up crazy and makes you sweat. lol Also i hated bacon when its was crunchy because it scratched the roof of my mouth. But know i like it not fully crunchy cooked but a little crispy

ALso is you ever go to japan most japanese people will know your a foreigner and will forgive you for small mistakes because they would assume your a foreigner anyway and understand your situation. Sometimes they might warn you so you wont keep on doing it. Sometime bad people could get you in a bad situation too.

Also the deer at Nara are like in one spot at the temples really its more like a petting zoo. And even here in America theres deers... one got killed in front of my house once.... not much snakes but i know there are some like garden snakes... and there 3 wild bunnies close to my house too

O: Dude, I love bacon, especially when it's crunchy!(I should keep that ginger thing in mind. Is it for something specific? Like sore throats for example?)
When I get fever, my mom get's some cactus and puts it on my stomach so it can absorb the heat~!(these kind )
When I was younger, I hated eating beats and having my eggs sunny-side-up. Now I like them both, but now I don't like tomatoes like I used to, ahaha ._.;

Well when you see a foreigner in japan they tend to stand out mostly when they are blond, blue eyed, and freakin tall..... and all these short people...

but in the future the high will start to rise maybe since theres alot of genes mixing up alot of half people plus most of them are pretty
