I'm re-watching the first season with Stephen whenever he's home from work. He likes it too, so I figured if he can catch up to where I am then we can finish the second season together.

We really love watching anime shows together too. Our favorites are Sergeant Frog, Attack on Titan, Sword Art Online, and Log Horizon. Have you had a chance to see any of these?

I've only seen attack on titan with my dad since he loves cartoons and anything japanese, and he did love it

Attack on Titan is really good! It's dark and depressing, and there may be a lot of blood and death, but it's a great story. O.O
The basic idea of SAO is that a group of people who have the game Sword Art Online become trapped in the virtual reality world. If they die in the game they die in real life. It can be really sad, but it also has it's funny and sweet moments too. It's a well balanced anime.
Sergeant Frog is just hilarious. It's a comedy that makes fun of itself and other animes. It's about 5 frogs from space who are trying to take over Earth and fail miserably every time they hatch a plan because their leader is a self absorbed (but lovable) idiot. It's really fun. XD
Log Horizon is similar to SAO in that a bunch of people again are stuck in a video game, but it's different because the main villain doesn't reveal himself immediately. In fact, we still don't know why everyone's stuck in the game or who's keeping them there. All we know is that no one can die, and the main character, Shiroe, is trying to maintain order and keep people civil towards each other. The NPC (Non Playable Characters) act very human. They're referred to as "People of the Land" while the gamers are referred to as "Adventurers." The problem is, the People of the Land can die should their health run out. It's kind of where SAO could have gone if they wanted to.
