Texturevault attaches great importance to the focus and noise.
However, there is a category of "bokeh", but you have to remove the grains of noise with a little "out of focus". And this for photos of clouds, too.
You can try.

It's very odd. The way I use textures seems to be very different from the way they use them. It's one thing to want a 'sharp' texture for a background or to fill an area and another to want a texture to use as an overlay. I mostly use very soft textures to use as overlays to add a 'feeling of texture' more than distracting texture that would obscure my image. Sigh.
I'll see what I can do with my natural bokeh textures. I never know what they'll accept and what they don't.

Hi, Sybille.
I understand your problems, but they are problems of personal work.
Each site of RF has its own requirements (I call them "mania"). In Texturevault what matters are the focus and the absence of noise. Some of my images are poor brightness / contrast / saturation but have been accepted (it is easy to correct these defects on an image to focus and without noise). And a texture of "strong" enough to lower the opacity to make it soft.
And anyway, it is normal that some photos are rejected, it happens to everyone.

LOL I wasn't worried about the rejection just sad that my bokeh images (which I use successfully in my photo manipulations) will never be accepted. Natural bokeh is different from Photoshop made bokeh as it's soft and blurry round the edges which gives it the lovely magical feel it should have. I just felt that their requirements are too restrictive for textures as the best textures are often slightly blurry and soft.

Will do. Just haven't got round to it. Been designing and uploading new stuff for my envelop shop so haven't done any manips for a couple of weeks. Almost done now.
