I've been doing alright. Our local situation with the virus is getting worse so I've been trying to keep busy to distract myself and spend more time outside since the weather has been nice. How are you doing?

Hey, Jayde! Sorry for the late reply!! I'm pretty stressed out. We just bought our first car together and the insurance is a lot higher than I was expecting. The monthly payments are going to be higher than I was wanting as well, but its a nice car and we will have it payed off in just a few years. I should be excited, but its just nerve wracking to be honest. I need to find a better job to help me pay for this without being broke constantly. \o/ I've been trying to get a new job, anyway.

My significant other and I have an inside joke where I call him "Panda" because he used to say "Happy Panda" as a reference to himself being happy or satisfied with a situation or accomplishment.Β
I just find it interesting considering that's kinda one of my nicknames for you back from your older deviantArt years.Β
Now you're more like MamaMantis or Mantis or PandaMantis. I haven't figured anything out yet besides Leila

Thats cute! My friends all still call me Panda online xD I stilll like it, I just don't tell people to call me Panda on my profile anymore I guess because I associate it with that stage young folks go through where they are obsessed with anime and pandas and try to act quirky, which, I still like both anime and pandas even if I watch anime a lot less now so idk lol.

Similar thing with Sai, except mine's because Sai was an OC I based on myself but now I don't relate so much to her anymore because I outgrew her and her plotline continued on without me.Β
Love her to death though. She's kinda like a mascot of sorts.Β
Now I have a different OC I based on myself, but she's not a main character of her series like how Sai was. She's actually pretty minor but still has a role x'DΒ

Sai is still awesome- Its a fun blast from the past getting to draw her! And I so get you on that XD I've tried several times to make personas and they end up as just regular characters eventually. The closest I have to myself is probably Nahlah, but as my characters develop they always evolve differently than myself. Nahlah is pretty close, though.

All of my majorly important OC's for their respective plots/roleplays all have a major part of myself attached to them, so it's not like I have one major persona anymore but rather a million slight ones.Β
Though my 'persona' I have right now is Sid. She is the one with the Red and Brown hair. She has a minor role in the grand scheme of her story. She is a college student who is easily overwhelmed and anxious, and she is dating a genderfluid shapeshifter alien who was raised to be human. This alien goes on all sorts of crazy adventures trying to survive on Earth while outside dark magic forces are trying to exterminate his entire race. They live in a small town where a lot of crazy things happen but also trying to survive the mundane small town life. In fact, not that I ever saw the show, but it has quite a few Gravity Falls vibes *think emoji* I blame myself for being an Oregonian x'D. It's supposed to be comedic for the most part but also has ultraserious undertones... maybe Steven Universe is more fitting x'DD

Many of mine are like that as well! Just a bit inspired by my attitudes and experience in some ways.
That sounds like a very fun storyline! XD I love both Gravity Falls and Steven Universe, and pretty much anything quirky with good plot.
