You were faster :D (Big Grin) ! Very interesting gallery with wonderful pieces in there. This is gonna sound rather odd – knowing that you specialize in characters – but I actually like your environment pieces best. You show such generosity and a grasp of beautifully composed plains and textures in them! Great trees by the way! Most people totally fail at grasping their essence of solid shape and delicate details – or worse: they always use the same generalized tree shape, whereas in your pictures they differ in character and executive style.

Oh, and I really like your Smaug version, not only as the wonderful character design that it is, but also as a great illustration. I am still gonna give you the link we talked about: www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3xc3b…

It's funny because you're not the first person to tell me that regarding the environments, for the trees it's also a lot of photo-bashing and painting over so I guess that doesn't count too much :) (Smile)
