hahaha same bro, everyone was taking too ages, so we decided to just get into it. Bro our quest is to just make heaps of dope Maori characters and concepts g. 

We're gathering funding at the moment to start the first full series Maori anime, called Maname.

Mean!!!. Im writing a comic too. Mines about Tama o hoi. The demon that confronts Ngatoroirangi when the Te Arawa waka and Tainui Waka arrive in Aotearoa. Im incorperating all the Atua that I know of and a few more. Contemporary as. Set in modern day times. Tama or old king Tama or Tama Tupua or Atua Tupua is like the Maori version of Hellsing meets dante from Devil may cry. You guys gave me the insporation to fifnsh my story. I cant wait to read yours. The art work is fucking Amazing. CHUR!!!

Just wondering. Those Tablet/computers you use. Where does one Maori acquire one and does it run Photoshop or Mangastudio? I have photoshop cs5 and mangastudio 4-5. and how much??

All goods brother. Yea g so they're the 27inch, Wacom touch tablets. They're like an external monitor and can display everything your comp can. Got these bad boys in from the states cos NZL doesn't sell them, about 4.5 K each so we had to save pretty hard for them

Yea bro, took a bit of research aye, sussed a supplier in Paraparaumu, cos he's a registered tech importer. Then he sussed it from the states. Aw yea bro, photoshop was separate. Yea man pretty expensive but we saved for a while for it. Do you need photoshop bro? - Let me know and I'll be able to sus you out.

I got Photoshop cs5 student pack for $500. I use a wacom 11 inch track pad and pen on a mac. A3 500 dpi aye. Mean. ill keep that in mind

Was just wondering. If I could put one of your Atua up against one of mine. My main one actually. Hes gonna be finished real soon. He is the Demon King Tamaohoi. I finally finished his look and what he does and how his universe has unfolded.
He hates the Atua and Mankind. Yet he is a slave to Mankind. He is Evil incarnate but trapped in a Tohunga human host..............I dont wanna give too much away but in the next couple days I will show you what and who he is. So ye I wanna do some 'VS' comic strips/panels of him and a whew other characters i've done and some DBZ, street fighter, Naruto, Bleach 'VS' stuff as well. Fan art styles.

I would love to write a comic featuring your Atua Maui fighting my Atua Tama in my contemporary universe. But i need your permission first. just an idea.

Illustration is a passion so working at it is an instinct for us here. 

Nothing with what has been shown so far, other then maybe an art gallery exhibition.

 

This one is going to be apart of a guide to Maori Gods. It'll show all their stats, origins, any mounts or special items they use etc. This guy is the God of War.
