Do werewolves and weretigers count as Cryptid creatures? Cause those would be really interesting to see for Cryptid Month

I have a cryptid for you. The Mami Wata or Water Mama, which is a type of African or Amazonian mermaid. First heard of the Amazonian variety in River Monsters, where the skeptic explanation was an Arapaima as it leapt from the water. Basically giant megafish can be the skeptic explanation. They’re said to have long hair have fish tails and dark or light skin depending on the region and will come out of the water and drag people to their deaths in the water
