Your boyfriend is full of crap.Ā Terrible Ponies falls under not only the Fair Use Act, but also the First Amendment.Ā There is nothing contained in the blog that violates any of tumblr's guidelines, and also - no:Ā no one can get "arrested" for cyber bullying.Ā I'm not sure how old you are, dear, but the police kind of have their hands full dealing with rapists, murderers, drug dealers, human traffickers, and others legitimately breaking the law.Ā They don't have time to "arrest" someone for criticizing another person's artwork on the internet.
Frankly, if these people are unable to deal with criticism, then they really have no business uploading anything to the internet, let alone to an online art gallery that has comments and critiques enabled.Ā It is not the rest of the world's job to "be nice" to anyone.Ā The sooner that these "artists" realize that the world doesn't revolve around them, the better off they will be as a human being.
