Hey there!
I don't come on DA much myself, but I was lured to your page by your beautiful artwork, and just had to take the time to compliment!
And I just noticed that you're also from New Zealand! What part?

Just keep practicing on one thing (people. dogs. cats) its a lot easier to focus on one rather than trying them all. If you choose say wolves, then look at there skeletal frame and see certain points like the size of their head, position of eye, position of knee etc, then work on muscles and picture how they move (look at videos on youtube) fur comes after all this, think of how the fur would flow especially on the mane. Also find an artist that you admire and reference off of them, it helps to eventually develop your own style

Thank you so much!
It seems you helped me the most out of others I asked.
I always ask people for these types of tips because I
want to know the secret!
A lot of people have told me to draw skeletons, and I have, its
just hard to know every little detail.
I will most definitely look up some videos on youtube,
and I love your style!
~Thank you!!!!!!!!!

No problem Im always happy to help. I was told look at skeleteons also but I found them too difficult and misleading. Honestly I think life drawing and videos help the best as you can capture the movement of the animal and watch their muscles as they move
Thanks and best of luck

Yes, thank you!
I agree, that skeletons just... don't help and
are difficult to learn.
Thank you once again!

Hey Soul!
Could you check out my new fantasy story?
The Nakizen Vine Ch1Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β
Chapter one
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β In the year 2025 a world war broke out over ever decreasing resources. America used a tectonic plate disrupter in the hopes of destroying their enemies. Unfortunately the weapon set forth a world reforming event. Destructive earth quakes broke out in every land mass, forcing vessels of all sizes to retreat to the ocean while they watched the homes and cities they loved break apart and sink into the sea.
Β Β Β Β Β It took two hundred years before the last earth quake shook the remaining land on earth, and by then people had become used to living off what they could in the ocean. Cherishing every resource they could find. When they returned the land that still speckled the world it barley resembled the continents their grandparents had told them about. The landscape of what was left of
A alternate history fantasy story following a girl named Zoko who has the ability to control air and fire. It follows as she goes from living in the woods alone for years, to meeting a mysterious man named Syle.
